About Me
My name is Guangchi (Luke) Liu and I am currently a professor of computer science at Southeast University, Nanjing, China. I received my Ph.D. in 2017 from the Gianforte School of Computing at Montana State University. My research interests lie in the areas of Cyber Science (AI4Cyber), Neural Network, Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing, etc. I have research experience from both industry and academia.
As an academic researcher, I have published more than 30 research papers on top tier conferences and journals including IEEE S&P, ACM CCS, Usenix Security, NDSS, INFOCOM, TDSC, TMM and Communication Magzine, etc.
I used to be a industrial research lead at Stratifyd, Inc. for 5 years. Under my supervision, my team prototyped and productionized numerious social media and opinion analysis systems, such as Emerging Themes and Trends Detection, Semi-Auto Taxonomy, Auto Speech Recognition, and Tunable Neural Sentiment Analysis, etc. These systems are being used by more than 100 enterprises around the world. All of the team members I have mentored are currently working at well-known tech/financial companies including Google, Meta, Amazon, Microsoft, JP Morgan, Deloitte, etc. and instituions e.g., NCSU.
